Alex Anastasiou
Associate Director & Team Leader

As an Associate Director and Team Leader at Fullers Family Law, my role is to utilise my 15 years’ of experience to counsel and support my clients on a range of Family Law matters. After working at a leading boutique and top 100 law firm, I re-joined the growing family team at Fullers in late 2022.

I specialise in all aspects of divorce with a particular emphasis on the resolution of complex financial issues for high-net-worth individuals. A large proportion of my work involves helping clients who have family businesses, international elements, offshore trusts, commercial and tax issues, pre acquired wealth, inherited assets and pre and post-nuptial agreements.

I also have a significant experience in advising unmarried wealthy individuals/families as to property rights and financial provision for children.

I support my clients on a full range of children disputes including child arrangements orders/enforcement, injunctive relief, leave to remove and paternity issues.

Wherever possible I aim to resolve family matters outside of court in the first instance by utilising Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, to include private Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) hearings in tandem with clients obtaining successful outcomes. This reduces delays, costs and stress for my clients.

In some circumstances, there may be the need to issue formal proceedings in court, and in the event that they are needed, I have considerable experience in achieving the best possible outcome for my clients.

One of my notable cases is acting for the CEO of a diamond mining company with offices in South Africa and Canada, with assets in numerous jurisdictions. Net worth on paper was in excess of £35 million.

Areas of Expertise:

Testimonials

“Very happy with Fullers law overall. My solicitor kept me up to date with my case and was always at the end of the phone if I needed him to explain anything. I was more than happy for my solicitor to guide me through the process although we always discussed matters first. Would highly recommend.”

“I would like to personally recommend Fullers Family Law as a very good choice for any legal help. In my case it was for divorce and financials. They were so helpful and considerate! I would even go as far to say my Financial solicitor (Alex A) became my corporate rottweiler helping me fight for the best possible outcome. Started the proceedings in Jan 2023 and had everything completed by 21st Dec 2023. I would highly recommend anyone needing these services to use Fullers. Wealth of experience and kind and helpful too! I trust and believe in their services! Many thanks everyone who helped me.”

“When I contacted Fullers I was extremely anxious and worried about my position. I had the free consultation which outlined my options and I then instructed in respect of finances. Alex Anastasiou who dealt with my matter did exceptional work on my case. I was very nervous to take on a family that had bullied me for years, but Alex really put me at ease and his approach was first class every step of the way. Now matters have concluded I have a much better quality of life and am looking forward to the next chapter. “I was completely in the dark when I contacted Fullers and not sure what to expect or what my options were. I needed some in-depth advice so paid for a Pay As You Go 1 hour appointment with a Solicitor to discuss my matter in more detail. The advice I received really gave me clarity as I was given different possible outcomes and the next steps for the best outcome. I felt the solicitor understood my position fully and was very honest in what I could expect in reality, as opposed as to what I may have thought before I obtained the advice. I would definitely recommend Fullers to anyone needing advice in respect of family law.”

I had an appointment with a senior solicitor who answered my questions and gave me clarity as to where I stood and the steps to take next.
