For over 25 years Yvonne has been advising her clients in all aspects of family law including drafting of pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, separation deeds and financial claims after a relationship breakdown. Yvonne also has great knowledge in the aspects of civil partnership and TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996).

Yvonne was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1995 and is a member of the family law specialist association, Resolution. She has been with Fullers since September 2019, being attracted to working with like-minded professionals in a specialist firm that is devoted to private family law, and one that has a great ethos towards clients.

In her earlier career, Yvonne worked in many large practices in London and the South and also spent time in Locum roles. This has led to her developing a valuable mix of skills, enabling her to best support her clients.

When seeking the best outcome for her clients her motivation comes from the ability to make a real difference to the lives and the future of the individuals she supports. Yvonne’s passion for her clients can be seen through the demonstration of our ‘We Care’ principles, ensuring her clients feel listened to and are treated as individuals. She understands each client has unique needs and works in partnership with her client to view the bigger picture, tailoring her advice and thinking outside the box to ensure all options are considered throughout the matter to meet her client’s objectives and desired outcome.

Yvonne’s approach is outcome-focused. She will consider all routes to achieve the less costly, and less stressful outcome for her client where possible and if appropriate, this may include negotiations with the other side, recommending working with expert mediators, out-of-court settlements, or court proceedings.

Robust in seeking the best outcome for her clients, Yvonne recognises that this is different for every individual, and that often the key is to prioritise non-financial aims such as the welfare of any children involved. In all disputes, there is a balance to be struck and well-considered advice is provided, so her clients remain in control of the process.

Yvonne is a highly skilled advocate and will offer a tenacious approach if litigation is required. Whatever the situation, Yvonne will be a part of her client’s journey every step of the way.
