Joanne Green
Operations Director & Solicitor
I am a Family Solicitor and Operations Director of Fullers Family Law. In addition to managing the firm, I focus on helping resolve complex family issues surrounding divorce, separation, finances (including high net worth matters), children (including complex cases), cohabitation disputes, civil partnerships, pre and post nuptial agreements.
Throughout my career, I have spoken on family law topics in both the national and local media, including BBC News and various radio stations. I also regularly write for the Family Law Journal and have helped to raise awareness for 'no fault divorces' within the media.
I have also taught family law to post-graduate students on the Legal Practice Course at one of the top law schools in the country.
I became a family lawyer because I wanted to help people through what is usually one of the most difficult periods of their lives andI have built a reputation for resolving complex situations.
My focus is on finding out my client’s goals and building a relationship as a trusted advisor. This enables me to build a bespoke strategy to provide my clients with different options, which helps achieve the best possible outcome.
I always aim to resolve matters outside of court which helps to speeds up the process, alongside saving additional cost, and stress. I do not just follow the legal process, unlike lawyers at some other firms, which means you will receive the care and attention your family situation deserves.
My work includes advising on all aspects of family law with particular emphasis on complex financial matters on divorce, businesses, pensions, trusts, inherited assets, and those with an international element. I also have extensive experience in dealing with police, military, fire service, and NHS pensions.
I pride myself on having an approachable, sensitive, non-judgmental, and understanding outlook, alongside providing clear and strategic advice to guide my clients to the best possible outcome.
In certain situations, clients will want to protect their assets before or after marriage via pre or post nuptial agreements. I can advise on protecting wealth and structuring an agreement that is tailored to your circumstances.

Fullers is a progressive and innovative law firm with ambitious plans for growth. I am excited to be working alongside an exceptional team of expert family lawyers where together we will continue to drive the firm forward.

“From the minute I instructed Joanne Greene she was a complete superstar. My Divorce was very lengthy & took 5 years and throughout this whole process Joanne never failed to deliver & support me. If she said she’d do something, she did so every single time. Joanne always kept me up to date, always providing me timely advice and reassurance during this testing time. I was not hopeful at the beginning of it all but I am very happy with the outcome. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to anyone starting off on the daunting road to Divorce. I had every faith in Joanne and the solid advice she gave. Her reassurance and practical advice was invaluable throughout. Fullers also have an excellent support team which provided me with extra confidence that I was in good hands. Although I had a very good outcome in the end and I am happy with the end result, I will miss Joanne as we formed a good working relationship. Thank you Joanne and the team for being there every step of the way from beginning to end. You’re all superstars!”

“Feeling frightened and vulnerable as a result of potentially becoming homeless with a young child, I contacted Fullers Family Law for their help. As I was in a difficult financial position Fullers offered me a Pay as You Go service where I could budget for their advice. After having an initial meeting with a Solicitor and obtaining advice with regards to the law, I am feeling much more reassured and confident that everything will be okay and I will be able to keep a roof over my son’s head with the help of financial maintenance. I am completing my own forms to save costs and am continuing to use Fullers as required for their advice so I find their service very flexible.”
