Operations Director & Solicitor
I am a Family Solicitor and Operations Director of Fullers Family Law. In addition to managing the firm, I focus on helping resolve complex family issues surrounding divorce, separation, finances (including high net worth matters), children (including complex cases), cohabitation disputes, civil partnerships, pre and post nuptial agreements.
Throughout my career, I have spoken on family law topics in both the national and local media, including BBC News and various radio stations. I also regularly write for the Family Law Journal and have helped to raise awareness for 'no fault divorces' within the media.
Joanne has also taught family law to post graduate students on the Legal Practice Course at one of the top law schools in the country.
I became a family lawyer because I wanted to help people through what is usually one of the most difficult periods of their lives andI have built a reputation for resolving complex situations.
My focus is on finding out my client’s goals and building a relationship as a trusted advisor. This enables me to build a bespoke strategy to provide my clients with different options, which helps achieve the best possible outcome.
I always aim to resolve matters outside of court which helps to speeds up the process, alongside saving additional cost, and stress. I do not just follow the legal process, unlike lawyers at some other firms, which means you will receive the care and attention your family situation deserves.
My work includes advising on all aspects of family law with particular emphasis on complex financial matters on divorce, businesses, pensions, trusts, inherited assets, and those with an international element. I also have extensive experience in dealing with police, military, fire service, and NHS pensions.
I pride myself on having an approachable, sensitive, non-judgmental, and understanding outlook, alongside providing clear and strategic advice to guide my clients to the best possible outcome.
In certain situations, clients will want to protect their assets before or after marriage via pre or post nuptial agreements. I can advise on protecting wealth and structuring an agreement that is tailored to your circumstances.

“Very efficient and knowledgeable" - Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer 2018
“My dealings with Fullers Family Law have been highly professional, efficient and transparent. Everything from contracting, billing, case updates and organising meetings is incredibly well organised. Communication is timely and clear. I have been incredibly happy with the level of service that I have received from everyone I have worked with across the firm.
I was referred to Joanne Green by an academic friend who had been through a divorce. Since the moment of our first conversation, Joanne has been professional, knowledgeable, kind and supportive. She quickly provided helpful advice, a series of legal options and potential avenues. With her expertise, I was able to reach a quick resolution to my divorce proceedings. At an incredibly vulnerable and heart-breaking time, Joanne was able to compassionately and skilfully reassure and guide me through a difficult process. I have worked with lawyers before who may have a similar set of professional skills. However, Joanne's ability to meet her clients where they are, understand what they need to know, carefully help navigate difficult processes while demonstrating a level of care and concern that is unparalleled. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing a skilled, strategic, compassionate lawyer.” - Client
“Feeling frightened and vulnerable as a result of potentially becoming homeless with a young child, I contacted Fullers Family Law for their help. As I am in a difficult financial position, Fullers offered me a Pay as You Go service where I can budget for their advice. After having an initial meeting with Joanne and obtaining advice with regards to the law, I am feeling much more reassured and confident that everything will be okay and I will be able to keep a roof over my son’s head with the help of financial maintenance.”- Client
