Angela Moores bio

Angela Moores
Senior Solicitor

Angela Moores joined Fullers in February 2021. She has over 30 years’ experience in the field and brings a wealth of knowledge with her.

Her passion for family law is motivated by the great relationships that she has with her clients, working with them to achieve an outcome that allows them to move forward with their lives.

Angela has experience in all aspects of family law ranging from private children act cases to representing clients with substantial financial assets, which is seen in her accreditation from Resolution in dealing with complex financial matters. Angela understands all areas that must be considered when a union or breakup of relationships occur.

Angela is a well-known member of Resolution, not only holding specialist accreditation but has also served on the Resolution training committee for 10 years. She has contributed to articles and publications and has worked both on radio and television advising on family law issues. As part of her commitment to mediation she was a judge in the National Mediation Awards in 2020.

With the abundance of emotions that occurs with a family breakup Angela’s approach is to make sure every detail is considered to protect her client’s interests. She is aware that every case and client is an individual and will adopt a suitable strategy. To do this, she spends time actively listening to be certain that she fully understands their concerns. This enables her clients to receive all the necessary information, tailored legal advice and other professional advice and support that they need to help them make informed decisions.

Angela’s objective is to encourage separating couples to deal with all problems relating to their separation/divorce in a way that protects their wellbeing. This may include out of court negotiations, either around a table with their ex-partner in cases where mediation is suitable, or through firm but fair negotiations with the other side.

Where court proceedings are required or necessary because of the dynamics and non-co-operative ex-partner, Angela makes sure that her clients get exceptional representation in and out of court. She delivers exceptional service and will fight your corner in the most cost effective and practical way.

Angela first trained in Plymouth at Wolfertans Solicitors, she is cross trained which gives her a unique edge, starting out as a Legal executive in 1986 and being admitted as a solicitor in 1993. This discipline has followed her through in her career and she always pursues the best solution for her clients.

Angela has worked in many large corporate firms throughout her career in Leeds and Manchester. Most recently she has been in Locum roles, she has joined Fullers because of the forward-thinking approaches, the exceptional client care and the level of standards expected from the solicitors in the firm. With our innovative working practices, it allows Angela to service clients all over the UK.

Angela’s interests outside of work include playing golf and she also loves to jive dance. Along with friends she regularly attends the Twinwood festival.
